Today's Teachers' Day celebrations!! HAPPY TEACHERS DAY!! :D
i wasnt very happy at the beginning cos seow lao shi actually told me that i wrote wrongly for my compo and it is rly saddening to make such a mistake during prelims ! grr. but she told me never mind, and that makes me wonder why. i just pray hard that everything will turn out fine.
so beacuse of that, during aces celebration, i was so listless and couldnt be bothered to do the exercises that were demonstrated to us. it was until gena's persistence that i managed to carry out the exercise. but seriously, some of teh exercises are rly quite dumb and we have to repeat it for so many times ! mr chua looks amusing doing the exercise though. haha!
teachers' day celebration was quite interesting cos we had this questionnaire and they actually use a name selector to select teachers up for the teachers' day quiz. it was really exciting when you see yr teacher's name appearing on the list. i was rly happy when mr soon got selected ! cos he's a funnybone although his jokes sometimes can be rather cold ~ and the questions that were asked were rly silly ! like asking teachers
how do students fold their socks and how they sms during class, what type of drinks would students try to smuggle up the class and even asking how many windows are there in a classroom and how long is the william tell and school song! those ppl who came up with all these questions must be real bored as to come out with all this. lol. but it was rly entertaining having to see teachers guessing all these questions, with them answering correctly most of the time ! rly amazing.
there were also other performances like from the npcc. some students were rly bad. they seem like waiting for one of the npcc ppl to miss their rifle and then start to jeer when they noticed. so evil.. those npcc cadets must have been under a lot of pressure. even i worry for them when i see the way they throw the rifles, cos sometimes it can rly be quite unsteady ~
performance by the teachers were the most interesting cos each of the teachers on stage all represent different types of ppl. one caucasian teacher acted as james bond when he was introduced and guess what? under his so damn smart suit was a super childish water gun! and he started spraying it to the audience ! lol! so weird of him to hold that toy when he was looking so smart in the suit. haha! and mr anthony if i am not wrong was equally, if not, funnier! he acted as this rock 'n' roll guy and came out don in a jacket with a pair of jeans, wearing sunglasses and a bandana. he looked so hilarious and he kept posing so funnily, like doing the 'yo' sign and leaning slightly backwards with his arms crossed. gosh. so funny! and ray and roy appeared too, wearing our school uniform!! joanne says ray looked like he's gna explode wearing those uniform which looked like too small for him. seriously, i think he is too well-built. kinda of scary actually.
i didnt know miss mong and miss chua could play the guitar. not too bad but miss mong looked like she is struggling a lot when she was trying to figure the chords for 'guan huai fang shi'. and that song was sang by miss muneirah plus ray and roy. roy's mandarin is MUCH better than ray's. and a reamarkable feat for miss muneirah, a non-chinese to sing a chinese song!
i made my own way to kcp and met up with tricia, candice and zhou shortly. tricia and me have the SAME phone and in the same colour as well ! what a coincidence yea? hees. we went to look for yang lao shi and i am so glad that we managed to find her this time round. we have been gng back to pri sch since sec1 till now but the last time we met her before this time was in sec1 !! cos everytime when we reached the sch, teachers would tell us that she has left. in fact, it was the same this time round but after checking with the person in the general office, we realised that none of the teachers have left ! tricia and me were so happy cos there was still hope left for us! yay! and we found her in the end! had a nice chat with her and
YANG LAO SHI STILL RMB ME! :D
we went on to look for other teachers like mrs pauline tan and mrs soloman. mrs tan thought candice was me. lol. she rmb my name but matched it with the wrong person. well, i must say, it is still not too bad afterall that she could still rmb most of our names cos we have alrdy left school for 4 years and they have taught so many other students with so many different types of names yet they could still rmb ours. not bad not bad. we met up wiht yang lao shi and she treated us to our FAVOURITE NOODLE STALL. but she left soon after and i wanted to take a picture with her ! what a pity. she just left like that. i thought she would chat with us..
we continued walking around and i took some pictures before leaving the school for macdonalds. but before that we took a grouped picture!
we wanted to leave by the back gate that was locked by climbing over but we decided not to and fortunately we happened to meet the operations manager and he opened the gate for us ! yay! so we walked to macs and we met up with cherie! have not seen her in such a long time! we chatted and laughed a lot. and take a look at this !
do we look alike? my long lost sister! LOL! she's amanda and kaiyi's junior. gosh. i didnt know i could find someone in this world who look like me. HAHA! and i also realised sth! that tkgs have 2 different types of badges! haha. i wonder why they have 2 different types in the first place. haha!
i had to leave the place early as i had to go for tuition. what a pity. if not i could join them in the picture taking of the old neoprint machine. haha! i saw the pics in zhou's and amanda's blog. ( in fact i 'koped' all the pics above from their blog too! HAHA!) wonder why there are like so many lines across their faces..
next year's teachers' day might not be the same as this year anymore.. will we still go back to kcp like how we did since 4 years ago. sigh. 4 years have passed so quickly and most of us would only be returning to our secondary school to visit our teachers and juniors next year i guess. i still want to go back to kcp with my kcp friends!! i want to be always keeping in touch with them and i hoped we could always meet up at least once annually. like what amanda said, go back to our sec sch then go back to pri sch! i dont mind as long as i can meet up with ya all :D
we are also like gng in all sorts of directions next year. zhou and amanda gng for visual comm, kaiyi gng to trinity, candice still staying in dhs, and cherie will be in rj by then, that leaves with tricia, michelle and me. i wonder where will be heading towards next year. i was even trying to picture a scene where all of us are attending the same sch... with kaiyi most likely gng overseas next year, i wonder if we can still keep in close touch with each other. i had better go online more often now. i dont wish to lose my friends just because i am offline and cant chat with them.
we, kcp girls must always keep in touch with each other even after we graduate yea?
