Yay I finally finish watching "You're beautiful" !!!! :D

The drama is really nice, thanks to chan's recommendations!! Initially, I thought it was just some hana kimi storyline with the girl impersonating as a guy but as I continued to watch, the plot gets more interesting and I love the main characters even more! No personal favourite though, I like all of them haha! Just thought that 16 episodes for the drama is a bit too short; they should have added more parts for jeremy and shinwoo! Esp jeremy haha cos he's so funny!

And oh, I love the pig-rabbit a lot! Everytime I enter comics connection, I always yearn to see a pig-rabbit on the display shelf hahaha and I cannot find any pics of tae kyung and shinwoo :( Only managed to see jeremy's pics as part of the FT island group.. Haha I think I'm a bit gaga over the show now but I guess this craze will only last for a while. No more late night chasing shows anymore.. :( so sad, but at least my parents won't nag and scold anymore hahahaha. A new year is approaching too, so time for a change! No more sleeping in the wee hours! :)

Anyway, haven't been updating in a while. For this week, I have been watching movies!
Monday was Avatar and the movie is rly nice!! Even without 3d, the visual effects are cool enough for me alrdy! Before watching the movie, I always thought the na'vi state (the blue humans) is very scary but while watching it, it didn't feel that scary except the part when the guy transformed into the na'vi state and suddenly got up, towering over the humans.

Tuesday was Bodyguards and Assassins. I personally don't like the movie cos there is too much bloodshed and fighting scenes. I cried throughout the movie omg, so heartbreaking to see all the heroes die for the uprising of China. I can't stand the curved hooks that the baddies use to hook the flesh of other people, it's very gross eeyur. After the movie, I so wanted to watch Alvin and the Chipmunks 2 to calm my nerves hahaha. I think I made a lot of noise in the cinema lo hahaha. And my mum even went like "Aiyo they all (the good ones) so stupid to use swords, might as well use explosives to blow them up (which the baddies use), don't need to die ma, act hero only" -.-

Last week had a few outings. First up is the meet-up with Steph and May. We went to ice-cream chefs!! Yay! Have been wanting to go since very long ago! They have very unique flavours there like creme brulee and horlicks haha. And every tues is free toppings (first one only) day! :D

I love the creme brulee one! Next time when I go there again, I shall have that!

It rained so we seek shelter at steph's house downstairs before travelling to the airport to continue to chat lol and take peekchurs hahaha.

Steph's puffed up face! Haha.

We followed suit haha.

Next day was meet-up with jt classmates!! Wah, haven't seen all of them, except gena haha, for 2 years ever since we got our 'O's back!! Long time no see!! Haha, but thankfully we didn't feel any awkwardness chatting with each other. Guess we were just busy playing all the games lol!

Meet up soon next year yea? :D

And xmas day was spent with trombone section!!

Xmas gift exchange between 3 ppl only lol but nvm lah, at least still got present! :) My idea to go to klp was quite disastrous cos we had nth to do there and being a public holiday, kbox actually charged us $30 each to sing from 2 to 5 omg super ex! Luckily teo heng was nearby so we went there instead. $20 for the room to sing from 3 to 5 leh!! $20 for the 4 of us!!! That means each of us only need to pay $5!! So cheap, I like! :D HAHA must go there often next time! Teo heng is better lo, the facilities are almost the same as ksuite: cordless mikes and touchscreen monitor, better and also cheaper than kbox!

Okay, today is the last day of 2009, which means is the last day of student fare
T.T
Ahh it's just a sooner or later thing only. Hope you guys out there have fun counting down to 2010 and have a happy 2010 ahead!! :D

As promised, I shall blog about trombones chalet!! Yay! Our annual trombones chalet is back, although a bit too late and too short, we still had a lot of fun high-ing tgr and catching up with one another. It's great that we continued to keep in contact with one another, so let's continue this trend of annual trombones chalet, although the cost is pretty steep now haha.

The different types of rubiks cubes Jessica and me brought. 4 out of 5 are Jess's though lol.

We can even build a tower with our rubiks cubes!

Shhhhhh!

Dinnertime!

We had too much fun at the arcade later on, hence the lack of pictures haha. The 'go go ball' game was exhilarating. I laughed till my stomach ache throwing the balls and the part when we didn't know how to select the game was very funny too!

Our high score at the basketball game! Jacie got a higher score of 409 but it was reset due to some problems in the machine aww.

And we bought this on our way back to chalet!

Haha before we even drink it, we alrdy got high and started pillow-fighting!!

From pillow-fighting, it gradually went to dancing and subsequently taking pics again lol. Then finally, it was drinking time!! Hahaha omg I sound like some alcoholic. We didn't finish all in the end, which was such a waste haha. Some tasted good while some tasted like medicine ewww. And naughty g was not as scary as we thought hahaha.

And what's chalet without mahjong? Haha now I sound like a compulsive gambler.

Learnt a lot about mahjong playing and for the first time I actually 'zha hu'. Well at least, I learnt more about the rules and I know how to count the 'tai' now! :)

Cool effect huh.

Jessica and I managed to sustain through the night afterwards, with the rest in lala land lol.
Jessica was the last one standing in the end cos I gave up around 9+am and slept for about 2 hours before waking up again.

Went to pool and ksuite after that and I didn't get to jump on my bed!! :(:(
Turns out that if you want the bed in the room, you have to pay $40 an hour!
Our room was so small yet each of us alrdy have to pay $20 per person, very ex!
I personally think its not very worth it, we just went for the experience only and concluded at the end that ksuite is just the higher end of kbox.
And I got cheated by 8days!
The magazine mentioned that it only cost $8 per hour but the rates are more than that!

Okay anyhow, here are some pics to share

One thing cool about ksuite is it has the touchscreen monitor for you to select your songs and you can even do your own recording in the room and bluetooth it to your phone!
Very high-tech right!
Oh yeah, another good thing is they had cordless mikes :D

Thats all for trombones chalet, tata!

HAHAHA I've got no time to blog about trombones chalet yet so I shall blog about today's happenings first!

I was supposed to have a job interview today but the managers were not free to interview us so we actually made a wasted trip. Oh well, at least the next time I can get chan over too then we will have the interview at the same time. And Xueli recited a very funny poem while we were waiting for our interview hahahaha

It goes like this:

人生自古谁无屎~
有谁大便不用纸~
莫非你是用手指~

Hahahaha omg I was laughing like mad when I heard Xueli recite this!! She said until so pro, as if it was every other normal poem like that!! Very hilarious!!

Anyway, after the interview we had brunch and went to Xueli's friend's house to play! Wah, the house is rly beautiful and the playroom is what everyone would wanna have man! Got pool table, wii and mahjong!! Hahaha, if that was my home, I would just stay in everyday and play, so fun!!

I played wii for the first time and my guitar skills are very lousy! Cannot coordinate!! Very ashamed to be in band for so long, rhythm still so lousy sigh. It got better after a while, which is a comforting fact. Lol. I think I still prefer to play the drums, more exciting! Haha. And my pool skills improve a bit too! Hehe. Learnt a few techniques today such as hitting the balls from behind and letting the balls rebound so that it will drop into the hole haha.

We took a few cool pics too which I rly love!!

The drums!!!!

I look like some rockstar hahahaha

I will blog about the chalet the next time, I promise!

Lower brass picnic!!

It was fun overall, only spoiler was the rain which caused us to pack up and run frantically in search for shelter. Hahaha but at least we need not fly our eagle kite anymore since it couldnt stay in the sky for more than 10 seconds. Lol. A kite with a picture of the whale was flying so much higher than our eagle kite and we were like " omg the whale can fly better than an eagle! " HAHAHAHA.

Playing the pig game with section was very fun too!! Love to play that game with them again and compete to see who is the ultimate pig! Lol. And food was not bad too! A couple of bakers in the section, most of the food prepared for the picnic were baked by them! We had cookies, brownies, cornflake marshmallow, biscuits with marshmallow and onigiri!
ALL MADE BY THEM, SO PRO RIGHT!!!

Attempting to fly the kite

Most of the time our kite is like this....

And we spent most of our time untangling the knots lol.

One of the rarest times you get to see our kite flying hahahah.

Our kite is flyingggg!!!!

So many kites flying in the sky! Yet none of those kites belong to us hahahha. And the sky looks so ominous.

Doraemonnnn!!!

Juniors

Shall end off with the famous usain bolt pose hahahha

Next post will be on trombones chalet!!
